Juventus News and Form

This time last year Juve were welcoming Cristiano Ronaldo into the fold. After another domestic title, they are only getting stronger as well as they look for European success. The Old Lady have just completed the signing of young Ajax star Matthias de Ligt. But in some shrewd free transfer business, Adrien Rabiot, Gianluigi Buffon and Aaron Ramsey have also joined up with the club.

Juventus also have a new man in charge as well, with Maurizio Sarri taking on the challenge. Pretty much all the money that they have spent this summer have been on young defensive upgrades. So will they just carry on in their usual dominant ways? This is going to be a good run out for them and of course, no reason for them to send out their strongest team. They have a star-studded squad. How much of the top talent will be on show in Halling?

Tottenham News and Form

Spurs have spent money this summer. They drafted in central midfielder Tanguy N’Dombele and a little bit on getting winger Jack Clarke from Championship side Leeds. Some of the money that they have spent has been recuperated after shipping out Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid. The biggest positive of all so far is that they look to be keeping hold of boss Mauricio Pochettino. That’s such a huge plus. But will they decide to push on and get bigger signings in? Will they spend to try and close the gap to Manchester City on the domestic front as well as securing a deep champion League run? Most of the first team squad of Spurs has gone to Singapore, with notable exclusions being Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Davinson Sanchez.
