It is the final weekend of the regular season to look at for League Two betting odds. As seems to be common in the division there is an exciting conclusion on the cards.

There is the title issue still to be settled between Cheltenham and Cambridge, with the two of them having at least secured automatic promotion.

There is a duel between Bolton and Morecambe for the final automatic promotion spot in League Two.

Then there are three play-off spots still open with five teams involved in that battle. So there is some exciting League One football betting to come on Saturday.

The only area in which there will be no drama is at the other end of the table. Southend and Grimsby will be heading out of the fourth tier having already been relegated.

League Two League Title Odds

Cambridge 5/2

Yes, the title in League Two is still up in the air. Cheltenham have the advantage with a two-point margin over Cambridge heading into the final round of action.

A win for the Robins guarantees them the top spot and they are a quote of 4/7 odds to beat Harrogate at Whaddon Road* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

Cambridge have to beat the relegated Grimsby and hope that Cheltenham fails to win their fixture. That’s the only way the U’s get the title.

They are at least 8/15 for a home win on Saturday* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

League Two Promotion Odds

Morecambe 10/1
Tranmere 11/4
Newport 11/4
Forest Green 11/2
Exeter 11/2
Salford City 16/1

League Two Promotion

Bolton are sitting in third place in the table, clinging on to that final automatic promotion spot. They have to at least match Morecambe’s result on the weekend to stay there.

The Trotters can’t win the title because of a far worse goal difference to Cheltenham.

Bolton are away at Crawley on the weekend and are 7/10 to win that fixture* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

Morecambe have to better Bolton’s result on the weekend to sneak into third place at the expense of the Trotters.

A draw for them and a loss for Bolton would do it for Morecambe.

The Shrimpers are at home against Bradford on Saturday and are 3/5 to win the game* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

The worst that could happen to Morecambe is they fall to fifth in the table.

League Two To Win The Play Offs Odds

Tranmere 11/4
Newport 5/2
Morecambe 3/1
Forest Green 5/1
Exeter 6/1
Salford 7/1
Bolton 14/1

The Play Offs League Two

Morecambe are then guaranteed to at least finish in the play offs spots. But as for the other three semi-final spots, that’s up in the air.

There is going to be a lot of intense drama around on the final day of League Two football betting as the regular season winds to a close.

To Make The Play Offs League Two Betting Odds

Newport 1/40
Tranmer 1/40
Morecambe 4/9
Forest Green 8/11
Exeter 13/10

Bet at Bet365

Morecambe – 4th, 75 points

As mentioned above there’s a chance for Morecambe to earn automatic promotion, if they can better Bolton’s result.

With four wins in their last five games, Morecambe are in form. If they were to lose and Newport win their fixture, Morecambe could slip to 5th, but no lower in the table.

Newport – 5th, 72 points

The Exiles are in great form, dropping only two points in their last four games. The best that they can do is beat Morecambe to third on goal difference with a victory and loss for The Shrimpers.

But they can still be caught as well by Exeter. If Newport lose and at least any two of Exeter, Forest Green or Newport win, then Newport miss out on the play offs.

Tense.

Newport are 10/11 for an away win at Southend on the weekend in League two betting* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

A draw would be enough to get Newport to the play offs.

Tranmere – 6th, 72 points

Tranmere are worse off in goal difference to Morecambe and Newport. A point would be enough for Tranmere to secure a[play off spot.

But if they were to lose then they could still be caught by Exeter and Forest Green. If those two both win and Tranmere lose, Tranmere would be out.

For their final game of the regular season, Tranmere are 4/6 for a home win over Colchester* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

Forest Green – 7th, 70 points

A win will guarantee that Forest Green stay in the play off places. They have taken just the two of those in their last six fixtures.

Anything less than a victory will mean that Salford or Exeter could get the better of them for a top-six finish.

The Gloucestershire club have an away game at Oldham on Saturday to handle. They are 5/6 to take the victory* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

Exeter – 8th, 69 points

So the list of the potential play off semi-finalists goes on. A draw could be enough for Exeter to get to the top six, only if Forest Green lose though.

So basically, they have to better whatever Forest Green does on the day to pip them to the post.

Because of a vastly superior goal difference, they would better Tranmere and Newport if all three of those end up level on 72 points.

So Exeter are not out of this and have a good chance at home at getting their three points.

They are 8/13 in League Two football betting to beat Barrow* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

Salford City – 9th, 68 points

Salford has the most to do in this one and the smallest window of opportunity. They had a three-match winning streak snapped in their last fixture.

A win in that that one would have left them sitting in an excellent spot. Now instead they are scrambling.

They have to win their final game and hope that neither Forest Green nor Exeter win.

Salford are 4/7 to win on Saturday in League Two betting odds* (odds recorded at 19:01 GMT on May 6th, 2021 at Bet365).

League Two Relegation

As mentioned at the start of this League Two Betting Preview, things are over at the wrong end of the table.

Grimsby and Southend will be going to the National League. Scunthorpe who have been on a horrendous run of form can finally breathe easy as they escape.
