With Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola stating the player “has to change teams” because of being “unhappy” at Manchester United, that has kicked off further speculation about what is going to happen next for the French midfielder.

Pogba started Wednesday’s crucial Champions League game at RB Leipzig on the bench. He was sent on in the second half, but United crashed to a 3-2 loss in Germany.

That sent them out of the competition and into the Europa League.

It has been just the eight Premier League appearances that Pogba has made for United this season. Only five of those have been starts.

The contract that he has with the Red Devils will expire in about 18 months. But it sounds like Raiola is keen to get the player sold in the January transfer window and that Pogba was unlikely to extend his current contract.

Real Madrid is a 5/1 option in the Paul Pogba Next Permanent club betting market* (betting odds recorded from Paddy Power at 16:47 GMT on 12/9/20).

Pogba himself has stated how much he would like to become a Real Madrid player. They are one of the few clubs around the world who would be able to afford him of course.

But it is Pogba’s former club Juventus who remain the current market leader at 7/4 to be Pogba’s next club* (betting odds recorded from Paddy Power at 16:47 GMT on 12/9/20).
