Premier League Matchday 38: Best Betting Football Tips

Aston Villa vs. Chelsea: Premier League Betting Tip

Chelsea have UEFA Champions League qualification in their own hands. However, Aston Villa have had a strong season under Dean Smith and will be no pushovers at Villa Park. The Blues head to the Midlands as the 1/2 favourites to leave with all three points.

Aston Villa have caught many people by surprise this season, as the Villans will finish in 11th place no matter what happens on the last weekend. Smith’s troops have picked up 15 wins, including a 2-1 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last time out.

Our betting prediction:

Chelsea will finish in third spot and secure Champions League football if they can beat Aston Villa on Sunday. That would be perfect preparation for the London club before next weekend’s Champions League final in Porto against Premier League champions Manchester City.

Chelsea have been excellent since Thomas Tuchel arrived, and we fancy the Blues to make sure of third place with a win at Villa Park on Sunday. The Chelsea victory is available at 1/2.

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool entertain Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace at Anfield this Sunday. Victory will take the Reds into next season’s Champions League. This will be Hodgson’s last game in charge of the Eagles, and the former Liverpool manager will be hoping to rain on the Merseysiders’ parade.

Liverpool made a woeful attempt of defending their first Premier League title, but there could be light at the end of the tunnel for the Reds in terms of claiming a Champions League place. The Reds are in red-hot form, winning seven and drawing two of their last nine.

Hodgson and Palace will part ways this summer, but the ex-England boss has had a successful time at Selhurst Park overall. However, the Eagles have ended the season with a bit of a whimper, losing five of their last seven.

Liverpool should have no problems in this one, and we are backing the outgoing champions to secure a comfortable home victory. Put some money on Liverpool to win both halves at 27/25.

Leicester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

One of the weekend’s biggest fixtures is the Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur matchup at the King Power Stadium. Both clubs still have a lot to play for on the final day of the season. The home team are the slight favourites at evens.

Leicester have slipped out of the Champions League spots at just the wrong time for the second season running. Realistically, the Foxes need to beat Spurs and hope that either Chelsea or Liverpool drop points. Nevertheless, Brendan Rodgers’ troops are ensured of a UEFA Europa League spot at the very least.

Tottenham have work to do to claim one of the Europa League places in the Premier League. With Arsenal and Everton breathing down their neck, Tottenham cannot afford any slipups at the King Power. The visitors are priced at 12/5 to secure a precious three points in the Midlands.

A draw might not be enough for either side, but we can see the duo playing out an entertaining stalemate at the King Power Stadium. Check out the solid odds of 7/2 for the draw and both teams to score.

West Ham United vs. Southampton: Best EPL Betting Tips on Matchday 38

David Moyes’ West Ham United welcome Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton to the London Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season. The Hammers have had an extraordinary campaign, and only a freak turn of events will stop Moyes’ men from playing European football next season.

West Ham sit sixth going into the last day, three points clear of Tottenham and Everton. Victory on Sunday will see United finish sixth and take a Europa League place. The Toffees need a huge swing in fortunes to overhaul the Irons, while Spurs face a tough trip to Leicester on the last day.

Southampton have had a pretty poor season, especially since the turn of the year. However, they have won two of their last three, and the Saints will want to end their campaign with maximum points in the capital.

West Ham have all done but the job, but Moyes will want his side to take all three points from this final fixture in front of 10,000 home supporters. Check out the decent price of 37/20 for United to win -1.
