But the Rotherham manager will take heart from the fact that his side have been better on the road recently than at their own New York Stadium. They have won five of their last seven away games in all competitions to leave them lying fourth in League 1. They also saw off National League opposition in round one, though had to come from behind to beat Maidenhead and only got on top when their hosts were reduced to 10 men.
United are usually good for a goal or two, especially Freddie Ladapo, but have defensive issues ahead of this cup tie. Richard Wood, Joe Mattock and Billy Jones are all injured and Clark Robertson may have to pass a late fitness test. Matt Crooks is probably still not ready for 90 minutes but Warne could recall winger Jake Hastie for this tie, though Solihull’s tight pitch may not be ideal.

Rotherham have a never-say-die attitude but they often give the opposition a goal start and free-scoring Solihull Moors are an attractive 9/2 with Coral to be leading after 30 minutes with the visitors likely to again field an unfamiliar back four. This tie may well need a replay with the Draw priced up at 14/5 with Betvictor.
