Stoke City News and Form – Can the Potters pick up their first league win?
Stoke City have had a miserable start to their Championship season. The Potters are rock bottom of the table, failing to win any of their opening six league fixtures. So far, Stoke have drawn one and lost five, scoring six and shipping a staggering 15.
Before the international break, Jones’ boys let a lead slip to lose 2-1 at Birmingham City. Stoke thought they were on their way to a rare away league victory when Liam Lindsay’s 58th-minute goal gave them the lead at St Andrew’s, but late goals from Lukas Jutkiewicz and Jude Bellingham turned the game on its head in Birmingham’s favour.

After losing on penalties at QPR in a thrilling EFL Cup matchup at Loftus Road, Bristol City have won their last two on the road. The Robins beat Derby 2-1 at Pride Park before winning 3-1 against Hull at the KCOM Stadium in their previous away fixture.

Bristol City win: Stoke have been woeful so far. Since dropping out of the Premier League, the Potters fans have not had much to shout about, as their club finished in a lowly 16th place last term. Despite being one of the pre-season promotion favourites, Stoke could be in a relegation battle this year.
