Garry Monk’s men snapped Arsenal’s long unbeaten streak in the top flight on Monday night, thanks to a late strike by Bafetimbi Gomis. The Swans had been out at an 11/1 quote to win that match. They now sit eighth in the Premier League two places behind sixth placed Spurs with just two matches to go.
Because League Cup winners Chelsea are occupying a place in Europe next season, then it opens up sixth place to the Europa League. If Arsenal beat Villa in the FA Cup final, then seventh place will get in as well. Still work to do for the Swans who has Man City on the weekend before finishing their season at Crystal Palace.
Tottenham are an odds on 4/9 quote to finish in the top six, but have been wobbling lately, while Southampton can be backed at 9/4 for a top six finish.
