Today’s football betting features the best of the Champions League action that is happening.

It is matchday four already and things are rapidly heading towards the business end of things now.

For Tuesday’s action, the English interests in the competition lay with Chelsea and Manchester United.

They are both looking to consolidate their position at the top of their respective groups.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Rennes v Chelsea

The Blues make the trip to France for Tuesday night’s Champions League return and they are the 4/6 favourites to get the victory.

Chelsea have won their last five games in all competitions and in that sequence, they have given up only the one goal.

So Frank Lampard’s men are bang on form with their defensive output at the moment.

But on top of that, they have managed to hit the back of the net at least twice in each of those wins as well.

When they played host to Rennes on Matchday Three, Chelsea coasted to a 3-0 success.

It has been four wins in their last ten games against French clubs, but they look strong favourites for this fixture.

Last season Chelsea did win home and away against Lille in the Champions League.

Rennes have won their two previous home games against English clubs and have suffered only two defeats in their last 17 European home games.

But they were outclassed at Stamford Bridge and have managed just one point in their three group stage games so far.

The Brittany club are 7/2 underdogs for Tuesday.

They face a Chelsea side who could qualify with a win in this one and the Premier League side will probably be keen to lock that down.

Chelsea to win at 4/6

Football Betting Picks Today: Manchester United v Basaksehir

It hasn’t been the most convincing of seasons from Manchester United on the domestic or European front.

They may have a bit of revenge in their mind here, after losing 2-1 at Basaksehir on Matchday Three.

United gave away a comical opening goal in that fixture.

That was a major upset in this group stage campaign.

But still, the Red Devils are top of their group and are nowhere near hitting the panic button.

The Red Devils have suffered two defeats in their previous 8 home games against Turkish Clubs (W45 D1).

But it has been a three-match winning streak from the Premier League club in such fixtures and they are 2/9 odds-on to make it four in a row.

Interestingly Manchester United have lost four of their last seven Champions League home games.

But we don’t see that happening here. A big reason for that is the number of goals that they have given up on the road.

Basekshehir have shipped a total of eight goals in their last three European away games.

They are averaging over two goals per game against in their last 16 such away fixtures (losing 10).

We think we can get to a clean sheet victory for United.

Football Betting Tips for Today: PSG v Leipzig

This is some big action from Group H which is Manchester United‘s group.

PSG have some ground to make up, having only taken a W1 L2 record so far.

So this is a crucial home game for them now as they try and pick up the pieces of having suffered a 2-1 loss in Germany on Matchday three.

If that happens again, then their chances of getting through to the next stage are going to be slim at best.

With a league defeat on the weekend, that’s two defeats for PSG in their last three games so that will be a concern.

However, those two defeats were away from home so they are definitely looking for home comforts here.

But on Matchday 1 they were at home and lost against Manchester United, so despite them being the 4/7 favourites, there are vulnerabilities there.

One thing in their favour however for this game is that they are undefeated in their eight previous home games against German sides, winning seven of those.

This is a big opportunity for the visiting Leipzig to take a giant step towards the knockouts.

They have won 10 of their 19 previous Champions League fixtures.

Last season in the competition they posted a W3 D1 L1 record on their travels.

Leipzig did visit France last season and they remain unbeaten in three games against French opposition (W2 D1).

While the 15/4 away win odds looks a bit of a reach, them playing out a draw, does not.

Draw at 7/2

Online Betting Football Tip: Dynamo Kiev v Barcelona

Even though Barcelona have been nowhere near their best this season, they are P3 W3 in the UEFA Champions League.

So a win on Tuesday night will see them qualify for the knockout stages.

They only scraped out a 2-1 home win over Dynamo Kiev on Matchday Three, so it wasn’t the most convincing of displays or results from the Spaniards.

They have also lost two of their last three away games against Kiev (W1).

Barcelona lost a big La Liga clash with Atletico Madrid on the weekend, losing star defender Gerrard Pique to a long-term injury as well.

The Blaugrana have suffered just three losses in their 11 previous matches against Dynamo Kiev, winning the last two.

Their away record in Europe isn’t great now however having won only seven for their last 18 road games in European action (D7 L4).

But they have strong 2/5 odds-on favourites for a win on Tuesday.

Their record against Ukrainian clubs away from home is W5 D1 L3.

Dynamo Kiev have collected only one point from their three games.

They were running on a six-match unbeaten streak of home form in Europe before Juventus won there on Matchday One.

They are winless in their last seven home games against Spanish sides (D4 L3) and we can see Barca sneaking past them again.

Dynamo Kiev are 6/1 underdogs which we can’t find enough to support at this crucial juncture.

Barcelona to win by a 1 goal margin at 9/4
