Today’s football betting tips continue on Wednesday with the final throes of the group stage. England will be wrapping things up against Iceland on the night.

The big action of the night comes from Group A1 where top spot is still up for grabs in a three-way scrap between Italy, Nethelrand and Poland.

So let’s just straight on with football betting for today as England look for a positive after a loss against Belgium on the weekend.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: England v Iceland

England will not be going back to the Nations League Finals this season following a 2-0 loss against Belgium on the weekend.

The Three Lions did have a fair share of the play in the second half but lacked the cut and thrust to get themselves back in the game.

England are W2 D1 L2 in the group so far and it has been somewhat of a disappointing Nations League campaign from Gareth Southgate’s men.

They have managed to score just three goals in their five games, but they are the 1/6 odds-on favourites for this game with bookmaker Boylesports.

England lost their last home game in the group, a tame 1-0 loss against Denmark. It was by that scoreline that England won in Iceland back in September.

A Raheem Sterling 90th minute penalty gave England the win there.

The Three Lions have been a bit in a defensive frame of mind in this group campaign.

But they are facing an Iceland side who are on a four match losing streak.

We do see England getting the win, but not by any kind of big margin. Iceland’s last two losses in the group have been by a 1 goal margin.

England to win by a 1 goal margin at 3/1

Football Betting Picks Today: Bosnia-Herzegovina v Italy

A win for Italy will see them lock down top spot in the competitive Group A1.

A comfortable 2-0 win over Poland on the weekend leaves them in the driving seat.

It is a W2 D3 record that the Italians have taken in this campaign.

Overall in competitive and friendly action, Italy are unbeaten in their last six, so the current form is there.

Notably during that sequence of six games, the Azzurri have conceded only one goal.

They were frustrated in their home match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in this group, having been held to a 1-1 draw.

Italy are strong 1/3 odds-on favourites to collect the away win on Wednesday night however.

That is because Bosnia and Herzegovina have taken just two points from their five games in this group.

They have lost four of their last six games (competitive and friendly) and aren’t’ really expected to be in this.

Bosnia and Herzegoina were drawn against Italy in the Euro 2020 qualifiers and the Italians won both meetings.

It is an 8/1 quote at Boylesports for a Bosnia and Herzegovina win.

The Bosnians have managed to score just one goal in their last four games.

Italy to win to nil at 6/5

Football Betting Tips for Today: Belgium v Denmark

Belgium looked a really tired side in the second half of their 2-0 win over England on the weekend.

They were really labouring the more that the game went on and didn’t really play that well. But they got the important win.

That win leaves them top of the group and as long as they avoid defeat against Denmark on Wednesday, Belgium will be going to the Finals.

The Red Devils are W4 L1 in their campaign, the defeat happening in England at the start of proceedings.

So it’s been excellent stuff from them since and they have scored seven goals in their two home games played in the group.

They are averging over two goals per game and the 8/13 odds-on favourites for a win on Wednesday.

Denmark are in a great bit of form at the moment, however, with a five match winning streak going.

That includes two wins over Iceland and a victory over England in the Nations League group. So they have a lot to play for.

It is win or bust for them in this match, which makes it a little bit exciting. Denmark are 9/2 to pull off the underdog success.

The Danes have conceded just one goal in their last six games (competitive and friendly) and it will be interesting to see if they can keep Belgium quiet.

We see Denmark sticking in there at half time.

HT Draw at 6/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Poland vs Netherlands

What we have here in the situation for Group A1, is that the winner of this match will top the group, but if Italy loses to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the night.

There doesn’t look to be a great chance of that happening, but still. It means that the Netherlands and Poland should have a good go at each other.

Both are safe from relegation and only a win would potentially get the victor top spot in the group.

So that could make this exciting.

There was a 1-0 win for the Netherlands when they played host to Poland earlier in the group.

The Netherlands took a 3-1 home win over Bosnia and Herzegovina On the weekend. That is their only win in their last six games.

Poland meanwhile have only suffered one defeat in their last six, but missed a big chance to take control of the group on the weekend.

They went down 2-0 in Italy.

But with a three-match winning streak at home going for them, there is a bit of value in considering the home side, we feel.

Poland to win 11/4

Online Betting Football Tip: Israel v Scotland

After securing qualification through the playoffs for the next European Championships, Scotland are on cloud nine at the moment.

There could be more to come from them as well as they have a chance to win promotion up to the top level of the Nations League.

Scotland are W3 D1 L1 in their efforts so far and need to match whatever it is that the Czech republic do on the night against Slovakia, to win the group.

Scotland played out a 1-1 home draw with Israel earlier in this campaign, but they will want to walk away to win.

Their long unbeaten run was snapped with a tame defeat in Slovakia last time out. The Scots were a bit wasteful in that match as they had their chances.

Israel are not in great form, having taken a W1 D3 L2 record in their last six games.

They haven’t won at home in this nations League campaign, picking up one point from their two games.

There is a chance that they could be relegated if they don’t match whatever Slovakia do.

We can see a draw playing out in this one.

Draw at 11/5
