Today’s football betting will be visiting the Premier League and Championship once again as the midweek action rumbles on.

It’s another stacked week of action and the big win from the top flight will see Man Utd try and extend their lead at the top as they visit Fulham.

Championship high-flyers Norwich will also be in action on the night and we look at what they may do against the visiting Bristol City.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Fulham v Manchester United

The Cottagers still have a big fight against relegation on their hands. On the weekend they fell to a 1-0 loss at home against Chelsea.

That snapped a run of five straight league defeats that they had been on, and going down to 10-men against the Blues didn’t help their cause.

It is a W2 D6 L14 record that Fulham have taken this season in the top flight.

One of those wins happened at home, and Scott Parker’s men had been on a three-match winning sequence of draws at home before that narrow loss against Chelsea.

Can they hold out against Man Utd? The home win looks unlikely from a 5/1 underdogs quote.

Manchester United missed a chance at three points as they visited Liverpool on the weekend and probably should have won.

They are two points clear of rivals Man City at the top, but the Citizens do have a game in hand over them.

Manchester United are 8/15 to get three points out of this one.

The Red Devils have won their last four visits to Craven Cottage, scoring at least three goals in three of those four wins.

Fulham have been resilient lately, but we expect Manchester United will break them.

Manchester to win at 8/15

Football Betting Picks Today: Man City v Aston Villa

There’s not been much of a spotlight on Man City this season, but they are now rolling along very nicely.

A 4-0 home win over Crystal Palace on the weekend saw City move to a five-match winning streak and into second place.

So they have a nice bit of momentum going and will be looking for their fourth straight win at home.

In their last eight games home and away in the top flight, Man City have conceded 2 goals only with six clean sheets.

So they are rock solid at the back right now and are 2/9 odds-on to win this.

Aston Villa have seen their season disrupted more than anyone else in the Premier League.

The Villains haven’t played a league game since a loss at Man Utd on New Year’s Day.

That snapped a five-match unbeaten streak of form that they had been on in the top flight.

The away record of Aston Villa this season has been good at W5 D1 L2.

But with a lack of playing time and not much history to write about at City recently, Villa turn up as the 11/1 underdogs.

Man City to win to nil at 11/10

Football Betting Tips for Today: Norwich v Bristol City

Norwich are four points clear at the top of the league after having rediscovered their winning touch.

It has been back to back league wins for them now after taking a good road win at Cardiff on the weekend.

It is a W7 D4 L1 record at Carrow Road that they have taken in league action this season.

They have gone undefeated in their last ten league fixtures there, winning four of the last five.

Their trend of taking narrow wins only has continued and now 13 of Norwich’s 15 league wins this season have been by a one goal margin only.

The Canaries are 4/7 odds on in this one against the Robins.

Bristol City are in the top ten but their form has not been ideal recently.

The Robins have lost five of their last eight games and the three wins in that sequence have all been at Ashton Gate.

So they have fallen to a three-match losing streak on the road, and have faced much weaker opposition than Norwich.

Norwich to win by a 1 goal margin at 13/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Huddersfield v Millwall

Staying in the Championship for today’s football betting we are looking at Huddersfield v Millwall next.

Huddersfield have lost their last three league games and three of their last four.

So they are in a tough patch at the moment but may be able to lean on home form.

Huddersfield have taken a good W7 D1 L4 record on home soil in the campaign.

They had a five-match home winning streak snapped by Reading recently, but the Terriers are 21/10 to win this.

Millwall have found wins hard to come by recently as they have only taken one in their last eight.

But in that sequence, they have won at Bristol City and drawn at Bournemouth in a couple of good away results.

It is a W4 D4 L4 that the Lions are on away from home in the Championship.

As they are averaging under a goal per game on their travels, we can’t quite get there to support the 11/8 odds on them for a win.

Huddersfield to win at 21/10

Online Betting Football Tip: Nottingham Forest v Middlesbrough

There has been improved form from Nottingham Forest since the middle of December.

They are on a six-match unbeaten streak of form, winning their last two in the league.

On home turf, they are W4 D4 L4 this season and are undefeated in three there.

So they aren’t in too bad of a shape at the moment. They go into this midweek fixture at 8/5 for three points.

Forest do have a bit of home going against Middlesbrough as they have posted a W2 D1 record in their last three on home soil against them.

It’s been three straight wins for Forest in all competitions. Can they extend that?

Boro are at 19/10 for the win on Wednesday.

They slipped up at home against Birmingham on the weekend, but have taken a win in four of their last six league games.

It’s been two wins in their last three on the road as well, taking their away record to W3 D4 L5.

Those two wins were against teams down in the bottom seven where Forest are.

The visitors have to be good for a point.

Draw at 21/10
