The Champions League action rumbles on for today’s football betting tips. It is more matchday three action coming up.

In it, Chelsea and Manchester United will both be back in action. In this busy period, there are also more Championship matches to come on Wednesday.

So we will also be looking at domestic action for football betting for today.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Chelsea v Rennes

The Blues will be happy with their lot so far in the Champions League group stage. It has been four points from two games for Chelsea so far.

Last week they cruised to a 4-0 road win at Krasnodar, building on the point that they had taken at home against Sevilla in their opener.

Chelsea are 1/3 odds on with Boylesports to collect the match win on Wednesday as they host Rennes.

With a victory over Burnley in the league on the weekend, Chelsea have now not conceded in any of their last four games in all competitions.

It is a nice unbeaten streak across all competitions that Chelsea are currently on with a W4 D5 record from that.

The Blues have won only three of their last nine games against French opposition. But they did take back to back 2-1 wins against Lille in last season’s group stage.

Rennes have one point on the board in this group stage campaign. That came in their opener against Krasnodar.

Last week they suffered a 1-0 loss at Sevilla. That result leaves Rennes with a five-match losing streak away from home in Europe.

In their two previous away games in England, Rennes lost both.

Chelsea to win to nil at 6/5

Football Betting Picks Today: Istanbul Basaksehir v Man Utd

The Red Devils will be looking to shrug off what has so far, been a turgid Premier League campaign as they turn back to European action.

Manchester United have won their two group stage games so far.

They opened with a great 2-1 away win at PSG and then eased to a 5-0 home win over Leipzig last week.

So that leaves them in very good standing ahead of this trip to Turkey. United are the 4/11 odds-on favourite with Boylesports in this game.

United have actually lost their last two games in Turkey. From their eight previous visits, Manchester United are W3 D2 L3.

The last time that they were there in Champions league action was in 2012 and lost 1-0 at Galatasaray.

Baseksehir are yet to get a point on the board in this group, having lost to PSG and Leipzig.

Both of those defeats were by a 2-0 scoreline as well.

Under 2.5 goals at 6/5

Football Betting Tips for Today: Birmingham v Wycombe

There has been a good bit of cheer for Birmingham recently. The Blues have picked up back to back wins in the league.

On the weekend they collected a good 2-1 success at Preston, which moved them on to a W3 D4 L2 record for this campaign.

It extended their unbeaten streak of form to three matches as well. In this quick turnaround, Birmingham are 8/11 to make it three wins on the spin.

They are facing a Wycombe side who are struggling badly this season in the second tier.

This will be the first league meeting between the two clubs since 1995.

The home record of Birmingham this season is W2 D1 L1, the Blues getting a 2-1 success over Huddersfield in their last home fixture.

All three of Brimgiham’s league successes this season have been by a one-goal margin.

Wycombe are second from bottom with just a W1 D1 L7 record.

Their lone win happened on the weekend when they won a bottom-two clash at home against Sheffield Wednesday.

That was a huge boost for them and all of their points for the season have come in their last two games.

But still, it has only been four goals scored in nine league fixtures by the Chairboys this season.

In their four away defeats this season, Wycombe have only netted once. The visitors have some big 4/1 underdog odds to defy to come up with the three points in this fixture.

We have to lean towards the home win.

Birmingham to win by 1 goal margin at 5/2

Online Betting Football Tip: Derby v QPR

The Rams played out another draw on the weekend in league action, their third in a row.

That was a good point earned though as it was away from home against Bournemouth, who are sitting in third place.

That point moved Derby on to a W1 D3 L5 record for this campaign.

It was also only their fifth goal of the campaign.

At Pride Park, Derby have managed to take just one point from their four games played.

That point came in their last home fixture as they held out against Cardiff.

So there has been more resilience about Derby recently. Not one of their last six league games have made it above 2.5 goals.

QPR got themselves a good 3-2 home win over Cardiff on Saturday which eased a bit of pressure.

The R’s had been on a seven-match winless streak of form before that (D4 L3).

They too, overall have been struggling for goal, having netted in only one of their five league fixtures.

QPR are winless in their last four trips to Derby (D1 L3) and may not have enough to take this.

Draw at 9/4
