Today’s horse racing tips for Friday warms up for the weekend with some picks from Haydock, Fakenham and Uttoxeter.

So there is a mix of flat and jumps action that we have in focus for the day, with the top races being some Class 3 fixtures.

Race Preview

All of the entries into this one are searching for some form. LARRY may just be the way to go for the contest.

He did have a decent run in the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown on his last run.

He has been rested since that effort and returns from almost six months away. That was only his second run since a big break.

ROCKY’S TREASURE is the pick of the bunch in terms of running well enough when fresh. He does look to be on a decent enough mark to get into this one and is a former Grade 2 winner.

MINELLA ENCORE has just undergone a second wind op as connections look to get more from him. He was last seen in a poor effort at Newbury back in March.

CANYON CITY landed a win on his penultimate and is match fit compared to the rest of the field. That win happened at Worcester and on his follow up was back at the same venue and ran poorly.

Race Preview

NO NO MAESTRO is bang in form at the moment and commands respect as a horse racing tip. He is looking for a hat-trick.

No No Maestro came up 2lb for a recent score at Hexham back in August. He likes to get to the front and boss things, and he has a course and distance success in his bank as well.

GATS AND CO needs to be considered for horse racing betting here. He kicked off things in the chasing sphere with a third-place finish in a hunter in May.

Gats And Co never really got things going over the hurdles but could have more to offer over the bigger stuff.

COLOURS OF MY LIFE steps into her chasing debut and warrants some respect as well. She has moved to David Skelton for whom she has her first run on Friday.

Things over the hurdles didn’t pan out for her but looks built for this.

Race Preview

This is a wide-open handicap hurdle and one of the names to get on the shortlist is ORCHARD GROVE. He is in search of a hat-trick.

He is thriving right now and the last of his victories was over course and distance having been raised 6lb for a win at Stratford.

He should be in good enough shape to go well again. Orchard Grove will be under a 7lb penalty for Friday.

EARLY MORNING DEW is not to be counted out of this one after a very good run here at Uttoxeter on his reappearance.

He looks to be 3lb well in and that gives the 5-year-old a big chance.

On that seasonal reappearance Early Morning Dew took a second-place finish at course and distance and at the same mark, rates a massive danger.

CRANE looks to be the way to go for the other selection. The cheekpieces are on for what is his handicap debut. He was fourth in a Market Rasen juvenile last month over the hurdles.

It’ll be interesting to see how ready he is for this, but there are place claims if he’s ready.

Race Preview

This is a very good-looking race with claims in it running right through the field. The first selection is going to be JARVEYS PLATE.

He returns after a break and he did go well over the hurdles last season. He was last seen taking a good score at Worcester in June.

He returns for a yard which is in form, so Jarveys Plate should be fired up for this.

TRINCOMALEE has had a reappearance run under his belt and he has been eased 1lb by the assessor. He was only reeled in late on at Haydock over a 3m trip on his latest.

So that is likely to put him in this. Trincomalee was in cracking form in the spring, the notable piece of form being a good win at Plumpton.

BANNIXTOWN GLORY should feature heavily as well. She is at a career-high mark, so is going to have to overcome that in a very competitive field.

This is her first run since June when she took a win at Cartmel in a novices’ effort over the fences. Back over the timbers, Bannixtown Glory should have a chance.

Race Preview

CREMANT should be heavily involved in this one, which is another wide-open contest for Friday’s horse racing betting.

He has rattled the crossbar the last two times, showing some good form. Cremant stays at the same mark as a third-place finish at Newton Abbot 55 days ago.

SOLDIER ON PARADE should have the distance in him after claiming a second-place finish at 2m 4f at Sedgefield last month.

He was nowhere near the winner in that one over the hurdles, but it was still a strong effort from him in what was a very competitive fixture.

ENVOL DE LA COUR is the final selection for the shortlist in this one. He has produced a couple of good runs, the last twice at Uttoxeter and Worcester. Place claims are on the table.

It is a bigger field to wrap things up for horse racing betting on Friday. The first selection is BAKE who steps onto softer ground.

He has won his last two, the latest of those scores coming at Doncaster in August. There was a good battle to fight out for the win there. Bake comes up 2lb.

POET’S LADY returns after a break since landing a win in a Beverley handicap in May. She has been given an extra 4lb to work with.

But in that Beverley, there was some promise fulfilled and if she’s sharp then there is every chance she can push on.

IMRAHOR may be worth chancing as well in this one. He made a return in August taking a third-place finish in a Newbury handicap.

He struggled to get going in his follow up at Goodwood. But the conditions could play in his favour, having won at 1m on soft ground before.
