DRUMLEE WATAR looks a decent fit for this contest and there are claims there from 9/2* (betting odds recorded 23:01 GMT on 12th September 2021 at Coral).

He completed a hattrick recently and scored at course and distance in that run of wins. Drumlee Watar missed a chance at a four-timer at Bangor a month ago.

But there was another strong effort from him, finishing third in that handicap. Considering that he’s off an unchanged mark, claims are there.

THUNDERSTRUCK returns and rates as a danger. He was last seen 131 days ago taking a handicap hurdle win at Fontwell over Drumlee Watar.

There has been a wind op for him during this long break. The break does indeed raise a question, but if he’s sharp, he is probably in it.

PUSH THE TEMPO is the final section for the shortlist. He was very good at Market Rasen on his latest, taking second place there in May. He’s had a wind op and could make his presence felt.

There have been some decent returns from her this season, taking a place finish in all three starts this season for Willie Haggas.

Lady Rockstar has the blinkers on for the first time and should have more to bring to the table.

RHYME SCHEME could pose a threat in the contest as well. She gets the visor for the first time in place of the cheekpieces.

There was a victory for Rhyme Scheme on her penultimate trip which was at Brighton. She followed up with a decent fourth in a Brighton handicap.

The other to consider for the shortlist is ELEGANT ERIN who is looking for her first win in a while. But has been in the frame in recent efforts and could be thereabouts again.

HESPERIS is thriving at the moment and she is sitting on a hat-trick chance. The latest of those wins was at Ffos Las 18 days ago.

She pulled clear comfortably enough in that one and is up against some familiar opposition here.

Hesperis is a quote of 5/6 to add another success* (betting odds recorded 23:01 GMT on 12th September 2021 at Coral).

HOOFLEPUFF has enough to get in the contest here. With a recent win delivered at Wolverhampton, she can’t totally be counted out on a switch back to the turf.

Hooflepuff comes up 3lb for this follow-up contest and is no forlorn hope. Nor is DAAWY who lowers his sights for this one.

Tactics caught him out in a Carlisle Handicap last time out, but being eased in grade here puts him in it.

There are plenty who appear to be in with a chance in this wide-open handicap.

Our horse racing tip for it is DIVINE MAGIC at 3/1* (betting odds recorded 23:01 GMT on 12th September 2021 at Coral).

She has won two of her last five runs, the most recent of those coming three weeks ago at Sandown.

Divine Magic goes to the Polytrack for the first time and there is a 5lb rise, a somewhat demanding rise, for her to deal with too.

But with a yard that is in form, we expect Divine Magic to make her presence felt.

GREAT VIBES hasn’t been seen for a year but is very interesting on a run for a new yard.

She was thrown into the Group 2 May Hill at Doncaster and finished 7th of 9. Connections must have seen something in her to put her into that.

FLAME OF FREEDOM could be another to watch. She claimed a win two weeks ago and has William Buick taking charge again. That win was at Epsom, a good step forward in her form.

This is another good competitive fixture for Monday’s horse racing tips.

We are pulling towards RIVER WHARFE for the win at 6/1* (betting odds recorded 23:01 GMT on 12th September 2021 at Coral).

He goes well at Brighton and has won twice for his current yard.

The most recent of his Brighton wins was in June. He was poor on his latest effort at Epsom a couple of weeks ago.

But a course and distance runner up finish on his penultimate trip gives River Wharfe claims if he enjoys himself at the venue once more.

DISCOMATIC is off the same mark as he was when taking a third-place finish in a Salisbury handicap three weeks ago. That at least showed good turf form.

SENSE OF HUMOUR is also worth another look. There was a victory at Yarmouth in her penultimate run.

She was back at that venue for a follow up a month ago where she just never settled on the day, clearly needing a stronger gallop.

Sense Of Humour rates a threat if she’s in a calmer mood.

OLIVIA MARY has been knocking on the door recently and is our 5/1 horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 23:01 GMT on 12th September 2021 at Coral).

In three of her last four starts, she has finished runner up. Olivia Mary was only touched off by a head last time out and should be in the thick of things.

TORONADO GREY scored on a mile trip here last week. The shorter distance doesn’t look as if it’s going to pose any problems. There’s a 6lb penalty for him, but he rates as a danger.

As for TURQUOISE KINGDOM, he needs a bounce back performance after disappointing at Ffos Las on his latest.

Connections weren’t happy with him on the day, but he scored at Lingfield on his penultimate run, so could have a chance if he’s back in that kind of mood.
