We have this Listed mile contest at Pontefract as the top action of the day and WESTOVER is expected to be a big player in it.
The son of Frankel claimed a 1m victory at Sandown in a maiden on his debut. There he followed up with a good second in a Newbury novice.
Westover still has some greenness to shake, but he looks like being a big player.
THUNDER MAX is worth considering as well as he makes his second racetrack appearance. There was a good job done to claim a win in a Doncaster maiden on his debut.
That was 38 days ago and the win came after Thunder Max put in a late charge. The longer distance on offer on Monday looks to be a good move.
The final selection for the shortlist is APPROACHABILITY who looks open to further progress.
He landed a course and distance win on his debut. He went even better when following Grenoble home at Nottingham 12 days ago.

STAG HORN is a strong odds-on contender in horse racing betting for this one. He is still looking for his first win of the season.
Stag Horn won this race last year, completing a hattrick of form at the time. He has been lightly worked in 2021, but in stronger contests than this.
The ease in grade puts him in this. He was hugely disappointing on his latest run at Deauville, but this is well within his range.
HERE AND NOW may offer some challenges. He looks to be on good terms at the moment and took a third on his reappearance.
That was last month at Wolverhampton and he looked as if he retains a ton of ability. That reappearance should have sharpened him up.
NOTATION is the final one to consider for horse racing betting. He won three races ago, a success happening at Newcastle.
Notation has been easily beaten in his last two, however, both handicap fixtures. Will he find this easier?

This is a wide-open contest and the first selection we are going to look at is course and distance winner SUDONA.
She has been in great shape recently and collected a win at Beverley on her latest run. The form from that has worked out well.
Despite coming up 3lb in a competitive fixture, Sedona looks as if she can be heavily involved. MYRISTICA is also shortlisted for horse racing betting.
She scored at Ripon in August and has remained in decent form since. Myristica was a good third at Ayr three weeks ago.
THUNDERCLAP completed a double earlier this year and had a nice return to form when third in a 1m handicap here at Pontefract two weeks ago. Connections clearly see a good 10f trip in him.

BOTOX HAS featured strongly in this small field on what is his chase debut. He does have a good record from fresh.
There has been superb form by Botox Has over the timbers and looks built for chasing. He is from a top year and has his first run after a break of 215 days.
PISGAH PIKE on paper has the biggest form of the lot, winning two of four runs this season. He is a course winner and has experience over the fences, winning a couple of times in novice events at Worcester.
He stayed on form for his handicap debut last time out, claiming third at the same. Pisgah Pike goes longer on the trip in this one now but gives weight to the others.
UP THE STRAIGHT returns for his first run for six months. He was a very good runner up in a listed handicap chase in March at Sandown.
There was a mixed record from him over the fences last season but retains ability.

There are a few with a shout in this one. The strongest of the lot could be ROYAUME UNI who stays sharp after a run on the level earlier this month.
He comes back to hurdles here and in the spring he took on tougher hurdles than this one looks. Royaume Uni could take all the beating.
There was a course and distance maiden victory for ALBORKAN in the spring. He followed that up with another good run, taking third at Market Rasen.
After his six month break, Alborkan returns to handicapping and warrants big respect. The final shortlist selection for horse racing betting is LAURA BULLION on Monday.
It’s been over a year that she has been in this sphere, not having been seen since the spring on the flat when things didn’t go to plan.
Laura Bullion did win in spring last year in Ireland over the hurdles.

BROTHER PAT should be right in the frame on Monday as he has won twice this season already. Those were victories at Market Rasen and Worcester.
He was still in form when last seen at Worcester three weeks ago. Brother Pat took a good second in a Sedgefield handicap. The extra trip here could play to his advantage.
CHURCHTOWN GLEN looks like a good contender as well. He is generally consistent even though that hasn’t translated to wins for a while.
He actually hasn’t taken one since 2018. But place claims should be there after a good third-place finish in a Fontwell handicap chase in May.
The final shortlist selection of horse racing betting is REGABY who looks to be well treated for this contest. He was sixth at Market Rasen three weeks ago.
There was a victory over the fences for Regaby at Hexham back in August.
While he hasn’t quite rediscovered that form, it’s still a piece of form that puts him in this.
