After the thrills and spills of the recent Doncaster meeting, things are a little calmer in today’s horse racing tips.

We are visiting Bath, Chelmsford City and Musselburgh for the day’s selections.

The pick of the action comes from Bath where there is the Sprint Series Final Handicap and the Summer Series Stayers’ Final Handicap, both Class 2 fixtures.

This Summer Series Stayers’ Final Handicap is a very interesting fixture to kick things off on Sunday.

MERLIN’S BEARD at 5/2 looks to be the selection to roll with* (betting odds recorded 19:04 GMT on 11th September 2021 at William Hill).

He is a course and distance winner, and the gelding looks as if he is going to be comfortable stepping up to this trip.

Merlin’s Beard has impressed in landing back to back shorter handicaps. There’s more than a reasonable chance of the hattrick.

HASHTAGMETOO is one of five winners last time out, who are lining up on this trip. She produced a very good finish to score here at Bath 11 days ago.

She is another that looks as if the extra trip is going to firmly benefit her in terms of ability and strength.

So she’s on the shortlist as well as HIDDEN DEPTHS. There have been two wins in the last three of Hidden Depths.

He has a top jockey booked after winning in Jersey on a 2m handicap a couple of weeks ago. There’s no question about form as he is a three-time course and distance winner.

This is the Summer Sprint Series Final Handicap at Bath. Our horse racing tip is CHERISH at 5/1* (betting odds recorded 19:04 GMT on 11th September 2021 at William Hill).

There is a chance that the handicapper hasn’t fully caught up with her yet, despite some red hot form.

Cherish completed a four-timer 25 days ago here at Bath. She is thriving at the moment and carries a 5lb claimer for this contest.

She has come up another 3lb but with three wins under her belt here at Bath within her last five victories, Cherish has to be a big player.

SARAH’S VERSE warrants respect as well as she continues to knock on the door of success. It’s been four straight runner-up finishes for her.

The most recent of those results for Sarah’s Verse was 25 days ago over course and distance. She has scored three times at course and distance this year.

CHIPSTEAD is sitting on a hattrick chance as he comes up 4lb in the ratings. The two wins that he has recorded this year were both here at bath.

11 days ago he succeeded in winning in a 4-runner field and is just going so well for his yard at the moment with more to come.

STYLISH PERFORMER at 11/2 is our horse racing tip for this handicap* (betting odds recorded 19:04 GMT on 11th September 2021 at William Hill).

He picked up a win at the course and distance three weeks and was keeping on well in that effort. He’s a very good performance on the all-weather.

So Stylish Performer just takes preference as he goes looking for his fourth victory this year.

Also on the shortlist is MUTAFAWWIG who is in his just his third racetrack appearance and this is his handicap debut.

He scored on his reappearance 39 days ago with plenty to spare. He’s totally unexposed but looks to have a lot of potential.

This should be well within range for EXTRODINAIR who found a Listed effort at Newmarket 15 days ago too much for him.

But this is much calmer waters and has successfully picked up three wins in 8 runs this year, plus has won four times at this venue before.

We dive into a smaller field here for today’s horse racing tips.

The selection is CRIMSON SAND at 3/1* (betting odds recorded 19:04 GMT on 11th September 2021 at William Hill).

He is looking for a double after scoring a month ago over course and distance. That moved him to three runs undefeated on the all-weather.

So Crimson Sand rates as a danger here and could potentially follow up on that career-best effort last time out.

BOOMSHALAA should be in the thick of things. He hit the ground running winning his first two efforts on reappearance.

He didn’t hit form at a Newmarket handicap two months ago on his latest effort. There’s a reasonable chance of him bouncing back.

INVER PARK is no forlorn hope in this contest as he makes his Polytrack debut. He has won one of three efforts this season, the victory happening at Ascot.

He put in a good shift at Newmarket 85 days to finish in the middle of a pack of ten. The longer rest is interesting and could pull him into the picture.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

PRETTY REBEL is hard to oppose as the 10/11 favourite in horse racing betting* (betting odds recorded 19:04 GMT on 11th September 2021 at William Hill).

She picked up a win on her penultimate run, which was at the Curragh in May. She was dropped on a trip for her follow up which didn’t suit her at all.

But she gave it a game effort at 5f nonetheless and took third. Coming back up on the trip is just going to bring more from Pretty Rebel. Big claims.

GOMETRA GINTRY has had a good season and has won four times here. The latest of those happened last month.

Her latest run was also here at Musselburgh, but too much was asked of her early on. There’s no reason why she can’t challenge.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

We have four course and distance winners lining up in this one.

GLORY FIGHTER is one of those and is our 15/2 selection* (betting odds recorded 19:04 GMT on 11th September 2021 at William Hill).

He is 2lb down from his last winning mark, but he may not be far away.

He produced a good second at Carlisle on his latest, suggesting that the form is coming back. He could well have a chance in this wide-open affair.

CITY WALK rates as a danger without question. He looks to be on a good mark. He has been away for a year, but is from a top yard so will probably be ready for this.

A year ago he took a second-place finish at Yarmouth from this mark. If he’s fit then City Walk could have a big say in this.

GOOD LUCK FOX may be worth chancing again. He has rediscovered some form this season, winning two of his last five. One of those was a course and distance success.

There was a struggle last time out for him at Haydock, but he looks in good enough heart to have a reasonable say in this.
