It is Bath and Kempton that are in focus for Wednesday’s horse racing betting tips and there’s a big one from the former.
The highlight race of the day is the Fillies’ And Mares’ Listed Beckford Stakes from Bath, which features an exciting market for an expected close battle between URBAN ARTIST and ABSTINENCE.
Horse racing betting starts with that race and there are five other selections for the day on top of that.

We get a look at a competitive renewal of the Beckford Stakes with URBAN ARTIST expected to feature strongly on Tuesday.
She was only just touched off at Glorious Goodwood on her penultimate run, before a bit of a struggle in taking on the Park Hill a month ago.
This is calmer waters for Urban Artist, who is the only one listed in this field who is rated above 100. But she gives 7lb to some youngsters and has yet to pick up a win at this distance.
ABSTINENCE could push all of the way in this one as she has been making big strides. A close finish in defeat at Newmarket in July to the subsequent Park Hill winner is a nice bit of form.
The extra trip that is in play for her on Wednesday could see even further improvement and Abstinence warrants respect.
ROSEABAD was third at Goodwood behind SEA SYLPH this season but received a lot of weight from that particular rival in midweek.
So that could see the former feature well as he’s been running well in defeat and Roseabad has the stamina to handle this.
As for SEA SYLPH, she can’t be taken lightly. She was last seen at Goodwood at this distance, taking a win three weeks ago over Flower Of Scotland. Place claims are certainly there.

DREAMWEAVER is expected to be competitive in midweek after taking a victory at Haydock last month.
He was back there three weeks ago taking a credible third and the blinkers were tried for the first time on Wednesday.
MONBAHER rates as a big danger in this field. He missed out on a hattrick chance on his latest which was a very strange effort.
He looked disinterested at Chester but has been given a substantial break since that misfire in July. Monbahjer was progressing well before that.
The final selection for the horse racing betting shortlists is BASCULE who scored comfortably at Lingfield a couple of weeks ago.
He comes up 4lb for this handicap effort and with his yard currently in good form, Bascule has claims.

SUPER SUPERJACK has claims as he has put together a very good season, winning three of his last five appearances. Earlier in the campaign, he landed back to back wins here at Bath.
He was fourth on his latest effort at Haydock on a much shorter trip than this last month. Super Superjack is unexposed at this distance but is apparently thriving at the moment.
DREAMBIRD should rate highly as a horse racing tip. There was a below-par effort from her last time out, which was a third at Wolverhampton.
But she has continued in pretty good form for most of the season and she hasn’t been far away from getting herself off the mark.
RUSSIAN RUMOUR is well treated and looking a threat in the field. She laboured on her latest effort as well, which was a third here at Bath.
But she has fallen to below her last winning mark, and this is a much more suitable trip for Russian Rumour to have a crack at.

RUN TO FREEDOM is expected to produce a good effort in this one despite some struggles last time out.
That had been in a big competitive contest at Ascot, and this for sure is much calmer waters that he steps into on the all-weather. Run To Freedom is a previous course winner.
NELSON GAY stuck a win on the board last time out, which was just under two weeks ago at Wolverhampton.
He notably had plenty to spare in that contest as well, which makes the 6lb rise that he has been given for Wednesday, manageable. Nelson Gay should have a big shout with Ryan Moore booked as well.
FERNANDO RAH just takes preference over OPEN WIDE for the final spot on our horse racing betting shortlist.
It’s been two wins in six for Fernando Rah this year, including back to back recent successes.
He has had a break of more than a month since a bit of a tiring effort at Newcastle which was too much for him. This is more within his range.

There was a win for Lafan on his penultimate effort, which was at Chelmsford City in August.
He was last seen at the same venue two weeks ago with a credible place finish. Lafan stays at the same mark so is expected to be heavily involved.
EXCEEDINGLY REGAL rates a danger as he is a former course and distance winner, the most recent win here being claimed in August from a tasty 20/1 SP.
He was fourth over C&D 39 days ago, so knows what is required here.
SUPER OVER warrants a look as well after running on in a third palace finish at the course and distance 39 days ago.
He has won here at Kempton before and looks to be in nice consistent form at the moment, plus Super Over has Hollie Doyle booked.
Others that rate in this big competitive field are HIT THE HEIGHTS, GLOBAL ACCLAIM and ISOLA ROSSA who all have reasonable place claims.

PRIZE FIGHTING is looking like he isn’t far away from a score, not at his current workable mark. He has been knocking on the door enough to expect him to be right in the thick of things.
GOOD HUMOR is the final one to look at for the shortlist in horse racing betting on Wednesday.
This will be the first time on the Polytrack for him, but he looked to have rediscovered some nice form with a credible effort at Newcastle three weeks ago.
