Today’s horse racing tips come from a busy day of action around the UK with some good meetings from the likes of Yarmouth and Uttoxeter.

We will have selections from those two venues as well as from Lingfield.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

TIGERTEN picked up a win on his latest run and is the 2/1 favourite to win this* (betting odds recorded 21:52 GMT on July 13th 2021 at William Hill).

That was a convincing success for him and he looks to be right on the up at the moment. There has been a 4lb rise for him now.

But that recent run saw him continue in good form, Tigerten being a good consistent performer so he should be right in the frame.

Others to consider for the shortlist are VAN MEEGEREN and ANISOPTERA.

Van Meegeren is coming up significantly in trip here, but he does so after collecting a good win here at Lingfield 25 days ago.

Anisoptera picked up a win at Kempton three weeks ago and looked to have plenty left in the tank. He comes up 4lb but could feature strongly.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

SIANNES STAR is our horse racing tip at 2/1* (betting odds recorded 21:52 GMT on July 13th 2021 at William Hill).

He is on the up at the moment, taking back to back wide-margin victories. Because of that and sitting on a hattrick, he comes up 6lb for this one.

But Siannes Star warrants some big respect here just while he is on top of his game.

A principal threat is YCCS PORTOCERVO who scored over course and distance five weeks ago. That was a reappearance run a month ago.

The handicapper has given him a 3lb rise for that success, but that shouldn’t slow him up too much. As for the rest of the field, there’s not too much in it.

Because of a drop in class the outsider TANARPINO may be worth some consideration.

He is a former course and distance winner and did deliver a nice reappearance at Ayr, taking a third-place finish before a struggle here at Class 2 afterwards.

FAINT HOPE can’t be ruled out of this at a quote of 6/1* (betting odds recorded 21:52 GMT on July 13th 2021 at William Hill).

He opened the season with a score at Kempton in May. On his latest, he went very well again over a 20f trip in June, here at Uttoxeter.

That puts him well in the frame and a 3lb claimer will help him as the assessor has started to get after him.

There are other big threats in the field. ALL HAIL CAESAR is bang in form, winning two of his last three appearances.

He only just missed out on his latest run and comes up 1lb after a second place finish at Hexham over the timbers.

Coming back up in distance and sitting on a very handy mark is WICKED WILLY. He was last seen 72 days ago taking a fourth at Kempton. There was nothing wrong with that run and he should be better for it.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

We like the 5/1 appeal of SHAMFIZZ in this handicap for Pro-Am Female Jockeys* (betting odds recorded 21:52 GMT on July 13th 2021 at William Hill).

There was a win for her on her reappearance. That was 35 days ago over course and distance. It was delivered in a big field of 15.

With that in mind, and the win being taken in similar conditions, there could be further progress made by Shamfizz.

DASHING DICK is consistent enough to find himself well in the thick of things. He has been in the hunt in three of his last four. He’s missing a win, but if he gets there it wouldn’t be out of turn.

The other to watch for the shortlist is SUPER OVER who is coming along very well. He scored on his penultimate run and there was a second-place finish as a follow-up.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

EMPEROR SPIRIT looks to be the way to go here at 5/4* (betting odds recorded 21:52 GMT on July 13th 2021 at William Hill).

On his reappearance run, he picked up a second-place at Ripon. That was a really encouraging run for him.

Emperor Spirit was then sent to the Britannia at Royal Ascot and he found that beyond him. Aggressive tactics in the race didn’t help.

This is much calmer waters and stands to push on well now as he looks like a good prospect. A threat is NOORBAN.

There has been good form from him, including a solid third at Doncaster on her last time out. There wasn’t a clear run for her, so should be in the mix.

DESERT GULF looks the most likely out of the rest to make a run at the top two. He made a nice return to form with a fourth at Newmarket three weeks ago.

That was after finding that he had too much on his plate at Royal Ascot.

Our racing tip for this competitive contest is RANIA at 5/1* (betting odds recorded 21:52 GMT on July 13th 2021 at William Hill)

She comes down 2lb after a third at Leicester in a handicap 11 days ago. Rania has now dipped 8lb below her last winning mark.

That has to be key sooner than later. We think that she can get in the frame. JESSIE PYE rates as an obvious threat as well.

She comes up on the trip looking to build on a couple of good second-place finishes. That least of those was at Windsor 16 days ago and she remains low mileage.

Our final selection for the shortlist in this handicap is SILVER NEMO who went well in a similar race over course and distance in May.

There has been excellent form from him this season, winning a couple of times. He has a big chance of getting in the thick of things.

FLIP MODE looks as if he could be hard to beat in this one. He has already tallied up 3 wins in 6 runs.

The latest of those was at Windsor 9 days ago, easily a career-best for him. So he is still on the up at the moment and warrants respect.

There has been no penalty for him. He will carry a 7lb claimer as well and the headgear that has helped him out so far is retained. There isn’t a lot to oppose him in this field, not if Flip Mode is back in the same kind of positive mood.

MOOSMEE is well treated and he should have a chance at the places in this one. He put in an encouraging and strong run last time tour it take second here at Lingfield.

CAPTAIN JAMESON is the other that needs a look for the shortlist. Like Moosmee it’s been a fair while since he scored. But there was a boost of recent form with a second at Nottingham just nine days ago.
