Bournemouth Preview – In-form Cherries to get the points on home turf?

Jason Tindall’s Bournemouth have had a solid season so far. The Cherries will be looking for an instant return to the Premier League after dropping out of the top tier last term, and they have picked up 11 wins from their opening 23 league games.

The Dorset club, who are in third place at present, dropped two points against Millwall at the Vitality on Tuesday night, though. They were on their way to another three points when Dominic Solanke scored on the stroke of half time. However, with ten minutes to play, Matt Smith levelled for the Lions.

Our betting prediction:
Both teams to score – No

Before the midweek stalemate, Bournemouth had won three league and cup games in a row on home turf. They have lost just one of 13 home matches across all competitions this term, with only Watford, Swansea City and Norwich City picking up more home points in the Championship. Can the Cherries return to winning ways on their own patch this Saturday?

Luton Town Preview – Hatters’ winless run on the road to go on?

Luton Town were many people’s favourites for relegation before a ball was kicked this term. However, the returning Nathan Jones has done a fine job at Kenilworth Road, guiding the Hatters to an impressive eight league wins so far.

After wins over Bristol City and Reading (Emirates FA Cup), Luton fell to a disappointing 2-0 home loss to Queens Park Rangers in midweek. However, that was their first home defeat since October.

While Luton have been solid at Kenilworth Road, Town have been poor on the road lately. Since a 1-0 win against Rotherham United at the New York Stadium in early November, Luton have lost four and drawn two of their following six away games.

Bournemouth vs Luton Town Betting Advice

Last month, Luton held Bournemouth to a goalless draw at Kenilworth Road. The pair had met in the FA Cup last season, but that was the first league meeting between the clubs since January 2009.

Key Facts – Bournemouth vs Luton Town Betting Tip

  • Bournemouth have lost just once at home this season
  • Luton have lost four and drawn two of their last six away games
  • These two teams played out a 0-0 draw at Kenilworth Road last month

Bournemouth missed the chance to fire themselves back into the automatic places with the 1-1 draw with Millwall in midweek. Tindall’s team will want to strike back with three points at the first time of asking this weekend. In truth, the Cherries should be too strong for the Hatters. You can get 31/20 for the home side to win -1.

Each of Bournemouth’s last five Championship wins have come with clean sheets. Take a punt on the Cherries to win to nil at the weekend at 8/5.
