Onto Fiorentina then, and the visitors occupy a safe mid-table position in 10th place in Serie A but all three points in this clash would see the visitors swap places with 9th placed Sampdoria, and with just one defeat from their last nine matches overall, Fiorentina look well placed to get something out of this encounter at the Sardegna Arena.
However, a note of caution; six of Fiorentina’s last nine matches have ended up in draws with just two wins during this sequence, these being a 4-3 win at Chievo and a 4-1 romp away at SPAL which will be encouraging for Fiorentina as these were both away from home.
