After eight straight Championship defeats and ten losses in 11 league and cup matches, Mick McCarthy was sacked as Cardiff City boss. In the meantime, Steve Morison will take charge of the Bluebirds until they find a permanent replacement.
In Morison’s first game in charge last weekend, Cardiff picked up a 3-3 draw at Stoke City, which was their first point since beating Nottingham Forest on 12th September. City were 3-0 down with 66 minutes gone, but three goals in five crazy second-half minutes earned the Welsh team a share of the spoils at the bet365 Stadium.
