Since being handed a 2-1 defeat away from home at Bristol City upon their return to the Championship, Coventry City have since recovered in recent times in the second tier with a 3-2 home win against QPR and picked up a point in last Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Oakwell against Barnsley.

Despite losing some key personnel following their desperate relegation from the top flight at the end of last season with the likes of defender Ake (Man City), goalkeeper Ramsdale (Sheffield United) along with Fraser and Wilson going to Newcastle United, Bournemouth continue to once again defy their critics, winning two of their three matches to date in the Championship.
An opening day 3-2 home win against Blackburn Rovers was followed by a solid point on the road up in the north-east in a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough and the visitors will be backing themselves to come away from the west midlands with something on Friday night.
