Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off in the Championship features a London local derby between Fulham and QPR at Craven Cottage with Fulham pushing hard for automatic promotion.

QPR sealed their Championship status with a resounding 3-1 win away at third placed Aston Villa during the week, which also handed The R’s a second win on the trot following their 1-0 home win over struggling Sunderland last Saturday.
Manager, Ian Holloway, will now be hoping his side can press on for the remainder of this season and finish in the top half of the Championship, but the question mark over their commitment and ability to grind out results on a consistent basis still hands over the squad I feel.
This is perfectly illustrated when looking at QPR’s last five away matches with wins at second from bottom Burton Albion and third placed Aston Villa, book-ending three defeats in the middle at Bristol City, Wolves and Sheffield United, within an overall away record of 3-5-10 17/28 – it’s no wonder Holloway is losing his hair!
