AC Milan sit in 6th place and currently occupy the last remaining European spot which gains qualification for the Europa League as they prepare for their trip to Genoa, looking to consolidate their top six position in Serie A.
The visitors are level on 31 points with 7th placed Atalanta who thrashed Frosinone 5-0 away from home on Sunday evening, so AC Milan will no doubt be desperate for a result of some kind on Monday night to remain above their rivals.
With just one defeat from their last seven league matches overall, the prospect of at least a point here looks a distinct possibility for AC Milan who have recorded recent wins against Parma and SPAL, but both of these were at their Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.
