Brentford are one of the form teams in the EFL Championship at the moment, moving just six points off the automatic places after last weekend’s results. This Saturday, Thomas Frank takes his side to the John Smith’s Stadium to play Danny Cowley’s struggling Huddersfield Town. The Bees may be on the road, but they are the bookies’ favourites in this one. Take a look at our betting preview featuring the latest odds, tips and predictions.

Huddersfield Town Preview – Can the Terriers avoid a fourth defeat in five league matches?
The Cowley brothers have done a fine job at the John Smith’s Stadium since their arrival, but Huddersfield Town are not out of the woods in terms of relegation just yet. Back-to-back defeats to fellow strugglers Stoke City and Barnsley has seen the Terriers slip down to 20th. Town, who were a Premier League club this time a year ago, are just four points above the drop zone.
Huddersfield have really struggled to make the John Smith’s a fortress this season, as six clubs have left with maximum points. The Yorkshire side have picked up home wins against Hull City, Barnsley, Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers. All of those victories have come since Danny Cowley arrived.
Huddersfield had won two in a row at home before their humbling defeat to Stoke on New Year’s Day. Town put in arguably their worst performance of the season in that 5-2 thrashing by the Potters. A 2-0 Emirates FA Cup defeat at Southampton and a league loss at Barnsley since then has not helped their cause, either.
Huddersfield have found life back in the Championship very tough going thus far, and things won’t get any easier when they take on in-form Brentford on Saturday. Can the Terriers avoid a fourth defeat on the spin in all competitions?
Brentford Preview – Another victory for Frank’s in-form Bees?
Brentford have responded expertly well from a sluggish start to their season, moving up to third place. The Bees have won 11 of their last 16 in the Championship. The London side have kicked off 2020 in superb style also, beating Bristol City 4-0 at Ashton Gate and seeing off rivals Queens Park Rangers 3-1 at Griffin Park last time out.
Brentford have been outstanding on their own patch this season. The Bees have won eight of their 13 games on home turf, with just Preston North End picking up more home points up until now. The Londoners have not been too shabby on the road either, accumulating 19 points from 14 fixtures.
