Hull City lost again away from home when they went down to a 2-0 defeat at 7th placed Derby County but they’ll return to their KCOM Stadium for Tuesday night’s clash with relegation threatened Rotherham United looking for a sixth home win on the trot.
Although The Tigers have also lost 3-0 away at Blackburn Rovers, Hull City earned a point in a 2-2 draw away at Aston Villa and have put together an impressive winning run on home turf which includes wins over Brentford, Swansea City, Bolton Wanderers, Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City.
Their home record has therefore improved dramatically to 7-3-5 23/13 under manager Nigel Adkins who has transformed Hull from relegation candidates to mid-table safety and just seven points adrift of the play-off pack.

Rotherham United Prediction
Rotherham United shared the points in a 1-1 draw with lowly Wigan Athletic at the New York Stadium on Saturday, and although Rotherham have avoided defeat in their last two matches in the Championship, this result extended their winless run to five league matches.
Rotherham earned a point away at Millwall in 0-0 draw in their previous outing, but three defeats on the trot prior to Ipswich Town, Brentford and Leeds United have prevented Paul Warne’s side from lifting themselves away from the bottom three.
As it is, the visitors are one position and one point above the relegation zone but with a poor away record of 0-5-10 8/25 on their travels so far this season, they’ll do well to get anything out of Hull here and could be facing a spell in the bottom three depending on results.
Rotherham have found scoring goals hard to come by on their travels this term as The Millers have failed to score in 8 of their 15 matches on the road this season, and they’re highly unlikely to outscore an in-form Hull City side at the KCOM Stadium on Tuesday night.
