Leeds United Prediction

Leeds United opened up a useful three point lead at the top of the Championship after the action was completed on Boxing Day as they came from behind to record a 3-2 home win over Blackburn Rovers.

The hosts found themselves 2-1 down but as in the recent match against Aston Villa, Marcelo Bielsa’s side dug deep and showed fantastic resilience to record all three points. The win over Blackburn became Leeds’ seventh league win on the trot in the Championship and they’ll look for number eight this Saturday against Hull City.

Leeds hold a solid record at Elland Road with stats of 8-3-1 21/8 and have won their last four home matches on the trot with victories over Bristol City, Reading, QPR and Blackburn Rovers while Roofe (13 goals), Hernandez (7 goals) and Klich (5 goals) have provided the bulk of the goals to date for the hosts.

Hull City Prediction

The recent appointment of former Southampton boss, Nigel Adkins, has provided Hull City with the perfect tonic as The Tigers captured a fourth win from their last five matches in the Championship on Boxing Day with a 2-1 win away at Preston North End.

With additional recent wins over QPR, Brentford and Swansea City, Hull have hoisted themselves away from the relegation zone and now occupy a much more respectable looking 15th place on the Championship league ladder.

Hull have also significantly improved their away record which now stands at a more acceptable looking 4-3-5 16/20 thanks to a five match sequence without defeat on their travels which includes wins at Bolton Wanderers, QPR and Preston North End along with points at Birmingham City and Millwall.

Forwards Campbell and Bowen (8 goals apiece) have benefited from attacking midfielder Grosicki’s industry going forward so far this season.

Betting Tips Verdict

Although Hull have enjoyed a revival of fortunes under Adkins, Leeds are on fire at the moment and they should capture all three points today.
