It’s been two seasons since Toulouse last appeared in Ligue 1 and the visitors have more or less managed to hold their own so far this term as they occupy the relative safety of 12th place in the Ligue 1 standings prior to this weekend’s action and this upcoming trip to the Groupama Stadium.

An opening 3-0 win away at Troyes gave Toulouse the perfect start on their travels but this early victory has been superceded by three subsequent defeats on the trot as Toulouse have fallen victim of defeats at Nantes, Clermont and Lille respectively, conceding a total of seven goals and scoring just 2 in reply.
In addition, the bigger picture offers an alarming insight as to how bad Toulouse have been on their travels in the domestic top flight as the visitors have managed to win just one of their last 27 outings on the road which must surely be one of the worst away records across all of the major European top flight divisions.
