Millwall Preview – Will the Lions make it four in a row?

Millwall have reignited their play-off hopes after a string of solid wins. Since a narrow 3-2 loss to Queens Park Rangers at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in mid-March, the Lions have secured successive victories over Middlesbrough, Rotherham United and Stoke City.

Millwall, who have won four of their last five in the Championship, have finally got their act together at The Den. The London side had picked up just one home league win until February, but Gary Rowett’s boys have now won five of their last seven on their own patch.

Our betting prediction:
Both teams to score

Only Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers have won at Millwall in league action in 2021. The Lions have improved since the turn of the year and are now just eight points adrift of sixth spot.

Swansea City Preview – Can the Swans avoid a fifth consecutive loss?

Swansea City are still in an excellent position in the league table despite a woeful run of results, as the Swans sit fourth with 69 points to their name. Automatic promotion may be out of reach, but the Welsh side should make the play-offs for a second successive season.

Swansea have had a disastrous month since beating Luton Town 1-0 at Kenilworth Road. Steve Cooper’s boys have gone on to lose to Bournemouth, Cardiff City, Birmingham City and Preston North End, conceding six and scoring none.

Swansea will be desperate to get back to winning ways after slipping ten points behind second-place Watford. Can the South Wales club secure all three points in the English capital?

Millwall vs Swansea City Betting Advice

Swansea have a good recent record over Millwall. Since the Lions picked up a 2-1 win at the Liberty Stadium in an EFL League One affair way back 2008, the Swans have won four and drawn two of the following seven.

Earlier this season, City picked up a 2-1 home victory over the London outfit. Ben Cabango netted the winner after Tom Bradshaw had cancelled out Jake Bidwell’s opener.

Key Facts – Millwall vs Swansea City Betting Tip

  • Millwall have won three in a row
  • Swansea have lost four on the spin, failing to score in the process
  • No side have drawn more games in this season’s Championship than Millwall (16)

Millwall are the team in form, but Swansea head to The Den as the slight favourites with the bookies. Like the reverse game at the Liberty, we fancy this to be another close encounter between the Swans and Lions.

A draw is not an ideal result for either side, but we are backing the pair to cancel each other out in south London. Check out the draw and both teams to score, which is nicely priced at 4/1.

Jed Wallace has netted two in his last four for the Lions, including the winner against Rotherham at the start of the month. Wallace is available at 15/2 to open the scoring in this one.
