Premier League Betting at Betfred

Rotherham United Prediction

Although Rotherham United occupy a lowly 20th place on the Championship ladder, Saturday afternoon’s hosts have suffered just one defeat from their last 10 league matches as Paul Warne’s side have proven to be a tougher prospect this time around in the English second tier.

That defeat came in a heavy 3-1 loss away at second placed Norwich City which was to be expected, but a total of eight draws within these last 10 matches means you’ll probably need the draw on your side in this one!

Rotherham have also chalked up a 2-1 home win over Swansea City during this time and have also been beaten on home turf just once so far this season amidst a stubborn looking record of 4-6-1 15/12.

The Millers have previously registered wins over Ipswich Town, Millwall and Derby County and have picked up notable points against Stoke City, Sheffield United and QPR to date. Midfielders Manning (4 goals), Vaulks and Towell (3 goals each), along with forward Smith (4 goals) have provided the goals for the hosts so far.

Incidentally, both teams have scored in 7 of their 11 home matches so far this term.

West Brom Prediction

West Brom sit in third place at the other end of the Championship table but are five points adrift of second placed Norwich City and six points off the league leaders, Leeds United, as they make their way up to Yorkshire to face Rotherham United this Saturday afternoon.

Nevertheless, West Brom will be in confident mood of capturing another league win here as they extended their unbeaten run in the Championship to six matches last Friday night with a valuable and impressive 2-1 win away at play-off rivals, Sheffield United.

Recent wins over Leeds United, Ipswich Town, Swansea City and Sheffield United have kept Darren Moore’s side in the frame for at least a play-off place and it’s worth noting that the latter three of the aforementioned wins were all recorded away from home.

The Baggies possess a fairly decent away record of 5-3-3 17/15 which has been improved in recent weeks as they’ve won their last three on the trot on their travels. The visitors also possess some key attacking personnel in the shape of midfielders Phillips (5 goals) and Barnes (8 goals) as well as the forward pair of Gayle and Rodriguez (10 goals apiece).

Betting Tips Verdict

West Brom should win this one but Rotherham have proven to be no push-overs this time around in the Championship – both teams to score looks the safest bet here.
