Torino bring a fairly solid run of results into this home clash having suffered just one defeat from their last eight matches overall in Serie A which was a surprise 2-1 loss at home to Parma. Genoa sit in a disappointing 14th place in Serie A following a run of seven matches without a win, and they’re now just four points above the relegation zone. The visitors will no doubt be keen to put some more daylight between themselves and the bottom three but four defeats within this last seven match sequence suggests this could be easier said than done.
The visitors possess a poor away record of 1-1-4 8/18 which includes Genoa conceding the most goals away from home in the Italian top flight so far this season, and perhaps unsurprisingly, they’ve also failed to keep a single clean sheet this term as well.
With just three away wins from their last 17 matches on their travels, they’ll do well to get even a point here, but the betting tips suggest backing Torino for the win in this encounter.
