Valencia Preview – Can Valencia win back to back at home?

An opening day 1-0 home win over Girona handed Valencia the perfect start to this new La Liga campaign and also made it two home wins on the trot following their final home win of last season over Celta Vigo 2-0, but they were dealt a defeat on the weekend.

A 1-0 loss away from home at Athletic Bilbao denied Valencia a third win on the trot in the Spanish top flight while the bigger picture shows that the hosts have gained just two wins from their last 11 matches overall, but form at home has been steady as Valencia have lost just four of their previous 17 matches.
