The final four are set in the men’s Olympic Tennis tournament now and Britain’s Andy Murray is in touch of a medal. The British number one beat Spain’s Nicolas Almagro in a comfortable match in front of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge out on court one of Wimbledon on Thursday. That win pushed him through to the semi finals where he now have to face up against Serbia’s Novak Djokovic. There was never going to be an easy match at this stage of the proceedings and the world number two and four will go head to head for a place in the final. Murray will be thankful that the match against Almagro was surprisingly easy, his opponent not really putting up any kind of fight whatsoever So now Murray, who finished as a runner up at Wimbledon back at the start of July will be eyeing his second Wimbledon final. He sounds happy in the less rigid crowd atmosphere of the Olympics, compared to that of the Grand Slam.

But a match against Novak Djokovic is never going to be an easy one. The former world number one saw off France’s Jo Wilfried-Tsonga in his quarter final match, taking the victory in straight sets. It should be a tense, fascinating match up, Murray will have the full support of the crowd and he is looking pretty sharp on grass, perhaps having the edge over Djokovic on the surface. The two players have faced each other three times already this season, with Djokovic leading the head to head for 2012 by a 2-1 scoreline They met in the semi final of the Australian Open which was a dramatically close match which the Serbian edged in five sets. Murray took revenge in Dubai before being defeated in Miami. They have never met on grass before. The overall head to head record between the two 25 year olds stands at 8-5 in favour of Djokovic.

The winner of Andy Murray v Novak Djokovic Olympic Betting will play the winner of Roger Federer v Juan Martin del Potro, the two losers facing off in the bronze medal match.
