China are unlikely to lost against Japan, so Great Britain may need at least a point in order to scrape through to the knock-outs. For that to happen they will want to keep as tight as possible to the Netherlands in scoring as a heavy defeat could be hugely detrimental for goal difference reasons. So the only positive certainty that can happen is that Great Britain beat the Netherlands and they will definitely join the Dutch in the next round. High pressure stakes on this one, and the Great Britain’s women’s hockey team have dug themselves into a bit of hole. Can they climb out of it on Monday?
