The Red Devils, helped along by a positive draw from their perspective in the fourth round of the FA Cup, are looking tremendous value to go out and land some silverware in the FA Cup this season.

It seems such a long time ago now that we last saw a Manchester United captain holding aloft the famous old trophy. Their last success in the cup came a decade ago when they beat Millwall in the final of the 2003/04 final at the Millennium Stadium. They have made two appearances in the final since them, but lost out to Arsenal and Chelsea in those showcase matches.

But with a new boss in Louis van Gaal and a growing confidence, the 11/2 quote on Manchester United to win the FA Cup at online bookmakers Ladbrokes should be jumped all over. No only does Louis van Gaal put a high emphasis on cups success, having won domestic honours with Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich during his managerial career, he has made the FA Cup a clear target.

After moving past minnows Yeovil in the third round, United go the luck of the fourth round draw when they were booked in for a visit to Cambridge, the lowest ranked team left in the competition this season (14th in League Two). So it is more than likely that Manchester United will be in the remaining sixteen, and with their firepower, it is going to be hard to stop them.

The huge advantage that the Red Devils have over the other main contenders like Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal, is that their schedule is pretty clear. With an early exit from the Capital One Cup, all that they have to focus on is a top four finish in the Premier League and a genuine shot at silverware in the FA Cup. That makes them very dangerous and bags-full of value.

Chelsea host either Millwall or Bradford in the fourth round, while Manchester City also get a home fixture as they face Middlesbrough. Arsenal have landed and away fixture on the south coast against Brighton.
