Enrique to guide Spaniards to the last four?
Bookmaker Paddy Power
Odds: 13/8 odds taken 1710 GMT, Thursday 10 June

Spain kick off the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament as one of the favourites to lift the trophy. In recent times, the Spaniards have struggled to live up to the stunning standards that they set around a decade or so ago, but Spain remain a European powerhouse, and they could go far at this summer’s Euros.

La Roja get their tournament up and running with a tasty game with Sweden at La Cartuja in Seville on Monday. Can Luis Enrique’s boys start with a win? In our in-depth betting preview, we take a look at Spain’s chances this summer.

Latest Group E Odds: Will La Roja finish top?

In Group E at the Euro 2020 tournament, Enrique’s Spain will go up against Sweden, Poland and Slovakia. La Roja’s competition gets underway with a game against the Swedes in Seville before taking on the Poles on home turf. Spain’s last group match will see them go up against the Slovakians at La Cartuja.

As you would expect, Spain are the clear favourites to reach the knockout rounds, especially as all three group games are at home. Paddy Power are offering just 1/100 for Enrique’s boys to go through, while they are available at 3/10 to win the group. Elsewhere, Poland are priced at 11/2 to finish top, while Sweden are the third favourites at 6/1.

The Poles and Swedes are the likeliest to cause problems for Spain along the way, but the three-time European Championship winners should have no real problems in Group F. If they start with three points against Sweden in Seville in game one, they should go on to win the group with comfort.

Our betting prediction:
Spain to reach the semi-finals
13/8

Euro 2021 Spain Predictions: Can the Spanish reach the last four?

Spain are among the favourites to win Euro 2020 outright. Before the tournament gets underway this Friday night, only France, England and Belgium are available at shorter odds. Spain are currently priced at 15/2.

In truth, they should ease out of their group as winners, booking their spot in the Round of 16 in the process. Spain were eliminated at this stage five years ago, but we fancy the class of 2021 to go even further this time around. At the time of writing, the Spaniards are priced at 13/8 to reach the semi-finals.

Spain were European champions in 2008 & 2012, dominating both competitions. If you fancy them to reach the final again, check out Paddy Power’s solid price of 7/2.

Who Will Finish as Spain’s Top Scorer?: Will Morata outscore his teammates?

England’s Harry Kane and Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku are currently the joint favourites to win the Golden Boot at this summer’s Euros. Lukaku is the Belgians’ main man and has had a fine season with Inter Milan in Italy. As for Kane, the England skipper won the Premier League Golden Boot with Tottenham Hotspur. Both will be the players to watch out for at Euro 2020.

Alvaro Morata has been tipped to be Spain’s top scorer. The 28-year-old scored 21 times for club and country this season and is expected to lead the line for Spain. Morata is available at 25/1 to win the Golden Boot, but we believe that there is better value in the striker to finish as Spain’s top goalscorer at 9/4.

Other Euro 2020/21 Predictions: England to reach final, Wales to make it to the semis?

Over the course of the month-long pan-European competition, there will be loads to bet on with Paddy Power. Who will win the tournament? Will Kane pip Lukaku to the Golden boot? Which nation will finish in last place?

England and France have swapped the favourites tag in the build up to Euro 2020. It looks as though Didier Deschamps’ Bleus, who won the 2018 FIFA World Cup, will be the favourites before a ball is kicked this Friday.

The Three Lions have improved tenfold since Gareth Southgate took over, and it could be their time to shine. Take a punt on England to reach the Euro 2020 final at the top price of 5/2.

Wales will be making only their second European Championship appearance this summer. Five years ago, the Dragons shocked Europe by winning their group and reaching the semi-finals in France, beating Belgium along the way. You can get the solid odds of 12/1 for Wales to make it to the last four once again.
