Aston Villa prevented a third league defeat on the trot last time out in the Premier League when they registered a welcome three points with an impressive 3-0 win away from home at Arsenal just before the international break.
Back-to-back defeats beforehand against Leeds United and Southampton (both at home at Villa Park) had threatened to undo all the good work that Dean Smith’s side achieved in the early stages of this new top flight season but the win at Arsenal should see a confident Villa side here this Saturday.

Brighton Preview – Can Brighton move away from bottom three?
16th placed Brighton will no doubt be eager to move away from the relegation zone with either a win or draw at Villa Park on Saturday as they hold a three-point lead over third from bottom outfit, West Brom, prior to this trip to the west midlands this Saturday.
Brighton have managed to pick up just the win though so far in this season’s Premier League campaign which was a 3-0 win away at Newcastle United but Graham Potter’s side have failed to win any of their subsequent six league matches which include defeats against Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham.
It looked like Brighton were going to remain solid on their travels following that win at Newcastle United which extended The Seagulls’ unbeaten run on the road to eight matches but two defeats out of their last three matches away from home suggest a tough task lies ahead of the south coast club on Saturday.
