Reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern are belatedly up and running in the new season, registering their first victory of the campaign on matchday 2 courtesy of a 3-2 scoreline at home to a spirited FC Koln. In fact, their two defeats in this timeframe were both slender one-goal margins. Yet a first victory in Munich since 1977 feels beyond a side with one away league win in its last 14 efforts (D6 L7).
