Onto Cardiff City and they too went into the international fortnight with a much needed win as they saw off Brighton in a 2-1 win at the Cardiff City Stadium and although they still remain in the bottom three on goal difference, they’ve closed the gap on the teams above them.
That win over Brighton was only The Bluebirds’ second win of their campaign though with both victories coming at home but an away record of 0-1-4 2/11 has really let them down so far as they set their stall out to grind out a possible point against Everton.
However, defeats at Bournemouth, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool suggest they could well struggle again on Saturday as they’ve taken just one point from a possible 15 on offer so far.
