Fulham continue to yo-yo between the Premier League and the Championship but The Cottagers find themselves back in the top flight after securing promotion in the second tier play-off final thanks to a 2-1 win against London rivals, Brentford at the end of last season.

Although Arsenal picked up five wins from their final eight matches of the season which included wins against Premier League champions, Liverpool, and Wolves to finish in 8th place on the Premier League standings, overall, it was yet another disappointing campaign for the north London outfit as they failed to deliver on expectations under new manager, Mikel Arteta.
Form and results at their Emirates Stadium continued to be consistent as Arsenal lost just three matches throughout the whole of the Premier League season but it was their results away from home which really let The Gunners down.
Picking up just two wins from their final 11 matches on their travels saw Arsenal fail to grab even a place in the Europa League and is simply not a good enough return for a side of Arsenal’s stature, while question marks still hover over the signing of former Chelsea defender, David Luiz, whose inconsistency at the back cost his side on numerous occasions last term.
That said, Arsenal should have more than enough quality to see off Fulham in Saturday’s season-opener.
