The great thing about the Premier League Darts action is that you are guaranteed matches like this. There has been some niggle between Wright and Price in the past and now they have to stand with each other at the oche once again.

Can Wright handle Price again?
Peter Wright is only W1 D1 L1 this season in the Premier League. He opened the campaign with a loss against Michael van Gewen and then had to settle for a point in a draw against Gary Anderson.
It wasn’t the easiest of opening matches for the 2020 World Champion.
Wright claimed his first win of the campaign with a 7-5 victory over Rob Cross in Cardiff last week.
The thing about the Scotsman is that he has never really found the going in the Premier League all that smooth.
But given his World Championship title on January 1st, followed up by the Masters title, big things are going to be expected of Snakebite in this season’s Premier League.
He has been scoring well has Wright, racking up a league-high tally of thirteen 180’s.
Wright has won the last two meetings with Price. He faced a big niggly showdown in the semi-finals of the World Championship in late December.
But Wright was bang in form and bang in focus on the night, producing a 6-3 set victory in the match.
They met again as recently as February 22nd in Wigan at the Players Championship with Wright taking an 8-6 win.
Can Price get his first win on the board?
Gerwyn Price is still looking for his first win of the campaign. He has drawn all three matches played so far.
Those matches have been against last year’s runner-up Rob Cross, Michael Smith and then last week against Daryl Gurney.
Last week’s effort in Cardiff from Price, against Gurney who is the only other player not to win a match in this season’s league, was a huge missed opportunity for Price.
It will raise question marks over his chances in this one against Wright, although he did win both games against Wright in last season’s Premier League.

Bottom-of-the-table Gurney is the only player in the Premier League this season with a lower checkout average than that of Price’s.
The three-dart average that the Welshman has picked up in this season’s tournament is 95.89 which is the fourth-best.
But his finishing power has not been there. That could be costly against Wright.
