Victories over Icelandic side, Hafnarfjordur, 2-0 away in the 1st qualifying round was followed by a high-scoring 5-3 thriller at home against Czech Republic outfit, Jablonec, but tough opposition in the shape of LASK await them in Thursday evening’s tie.
However, results overall at this level have produced just three wins from their total of 10 ties played to date and defeats in previous campaigns to Dinamo Minsk and Atromitos suggest this upcoming tie could well signal the end of the road for DAC here.
