Leicester – Foxes need to unearth killer instinct at home?
On the back of last Sunday’s hard-fought but thoroughly deserved victory over Tottenham, Leicester (W9 L5) climbed to second in the Premier League, four points behind champions Liverpool. As is their record away from home this season, which has been nothing short of astonishing after six wins from six. Having won their final four away fixtures last term, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has overseen a run of ten consecutive victories on the road in the Premier League.
Just two teams – Chelsea and Man City – have ever won 11 consecutive away Premier League games. United, then, stand on the cusp of emulating history. The fact they have done so despite conceding the first goal in all six away games this season is all the more remarkable. However, there is only so many times they get away with gifting teams the lead, and it would be dangerous doing so against a high-flying Leicester.
