Levante Preview – La Liga’s great entertainers ending the season in fine fettle?

Any aspirations of competing in next season’s Champions League have been dashed, however, on the back of their dismal efforts since returning from a Covid-19 enforced break.
After an initial draw at home to Osasuna, Sociedad subsequently went and lost four successive games. The 2-1 losses against Real Madrid and Getafe were more forgivable, particularly as Alguacil’s men run both sides close, however, the defeats to Alaves (2-0) and Celta Vigo (0-1) – teams fighting for their lives near the bottom of La Liga – were a lot harder to pass off.
