There was very little transfer market activity at the Britannia Stadium during the summer months, and indeed, they parted ways with their attacking midfielder Arnautovic, so it remains to be seen whether Stoke can create enough chances for new striker, Choupo-Moting (2 goals).
In addition, Stoke have recorded just two wins away from home from their last 14 matches on their travels, so this trip up to the north east may present further difficulties for The Potters.
