Saturday brings us further action from the Premier League and the early lunchtime kick-off brings us an interesting encounter between Norwich City and Chelsea as the betting tips continue at Carrow Road.
Norwich City Prediction – Can Norwich frustrate Chelsea?
It’s been an eventful return to the English top flight for Norwich City who were crowned as winners of the Championship league title at the end of last season, and in truth, were a cut above all the other teams in the second tier last term.
However, Norwich were brought crashing back down to earth very quickly by an impressive Liverpool outfit on the opening day of the new Premier League season and The Reds showed very little mercy towards the newcomers as they dealt Norwich a heavy 4-1 loss at Anfield.
It wasn’t all one-way traffic though as Norwich certainly created quite a few chances and The Canaries created and put away their chances in their next match which saw the East Anglian side register a convincing 3-1 home win over a lacklustre looking Newcastle United at Carrow Road.
Norwich City aren’t afraid to attack from the off, especially at Carrow Road where they really go for it, and as the hosts have already been involved in 9 goals so far this season, the goalscoring trend on home turf should continue here.

Chelsea Prediction – Can Chelsea get going under Lampard?
It’s still early days of course, but the jury still remains out where Frank Lampard as Chelsea coach is concerned, as The Blues have failed to win either of their opening two matches of this new Premier League campaign.
A heavy and embarrassing 4-0 thrashing at the hands of old foes, Manchester United, on the opening day of the season wasn’t the sort of start that Frank Lampard and his Chelsea team had pictured before the season began, and they could only muster a 1-1 draw with Leicester City in last weekend’s clash at Stamford Bridge.
Throw in a pre-season 2-2 friendly with Borussia Moenchengladbach and the penalties loss to Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup, and it’s not been a great start for the former player and Chelsea legend.
With just 2 away wins out of their last 10 matches on their travels in the Premier League, Lampard will have his work cut out to motivate his team to emulate last season’s 3rd place finish, which was largely engineered by the now departed, Eden Hazard. To make matters worse, Hazard hasn’t been replaced and has left a big hole in the London club’s squad.
Still, the likes of Pedro, Giroud and Willian should create and put away any chances that fall their way against the shaky Norwich defence.
