Norwich City Preview – Can the Canaries claim a first league win?
Daniel Farke’s Norwich City have had a tough time on their Premier League return up until now. Last season’s EFL Championship winners have taken just one point from a possible 21, losing six and drawing one of seven.
Before the international break, the Canaries did stop the six-game losing streak in the league, picking up a handy 0-0 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor. Back in August, Norwich also managed to thump current Championship leaders Bournemouth 6-0 at Carrow Road in the EFL Cup.
This is going to be another long and arduous Premier League season for Norwich. They have made a poor start, but victory on Saturday could lift them out of the bottom three. The bookies have priced the home win at 13/5.
Brighton & Hove Albion Preview – In-form Seagulls to fly home with the points?
Brighton & Hove Albin have made a stunning start to their season. After nine games in all competitions, the Seagulls have won six, drawn two and lost just one. In the league, they have picked up four victories already.
Albion opened up with wins over Burnley, Watford, Brentford and Leicester City in their first five fixtures. They then left it late to snatch a draw at rivals Crystal Palace before holding Arsenal to a 0-0 draw at the Amex Stadium before the break.

When Norwich were last in the Premier League in the 2019-20 season, Brighton did the league double over the Canaries. At the Amex, Leandro Trossard and Shane Duffy were on target in a 2-0 home victory. Several months later, Trossard netted the only goal of the game at Carrow Road.

Norwich will be in another relegation scrap this season, but Brighton will be aiming a lot higher. Potter has done a magnificent job at the Amex since taking over, and Albion should move on to 17 points this weekend. There is great value in solid odds of 5/2 for the away team to be winning at half time and full time.
Neal Maupay has been in fine fettle in front of goal so far. The Frenchman has netted against Burnley, Watford, Leicester and Palace and will be keen to score his fifth Premier League goal of the season on Saturday. Maupay is the 5/1 favourite to open the scoring in this one.
