Burnley Preview – Can Burnley confirm top half finish?
By contrast, Saturday’s visitors, Burnley, are currently enjoying the relative safety and comfort of a mid-table position in the Premier League as The Clarets occupy 10th place but they’ll be keen to finish the campaign as high as they possibly can, which could be as high as 8th place.
Burnley as a club and their blue-print for consistency are the envy of a lot of Premier League teams especially teams that have been promoted up from the Championship and they’ve reaped the rewards for their patience and loyalty to manager, Sean Dyche, as Burnley bring a solid six-match unbeaten sequence into this clash.
Recent wins against Watford, Crystal Palace and West Ham along with points picked up in draws with Sheffield United, Liverpool (away) and Wolves only further underline their resilience and prove how hard it is to beat them, losing just once in their last seven matches on their travels too.
