There doesn’t appear to be any slowing of form at Wimbledon by Novak Djokovic at the moment.

He has been easing smoothly through the rounds and on Wednesday he will look to secure a semi final berth.

Standing in his way is the unseeded Marton Fucsovics. Can the Bulgarian pull off a major shock?

Novak Djokovic Preview – Easy as you like from Djokovic

Reigning Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic doesn’t look close to relinquishing his crown at SW19.

Having won the Australian Open and French Open titles this year, he could be in for a Golden Slam with it being the Olympics year as well.

In the first round of his Wimbledon title defence this year, he dropped the opening set against Britain’s Jack Draper.

But since then he has been rattling through sets rapidly.

Of the twelve sets that Djokovic has won at Wimbledon this year, he has given up more than three games in just three of those.

Not too surprisingly there is not a great deal of value on the match outright win for Djokovic who is a massive odds-on favourite.

Even the Djokovic 3-0 set betting option for Tennis betting is at 4/11 odds-on* (odds taken 21:49 GMT on July 5th, 2021)

So far in this 2021 Wimbledon draw, Djokovic has met just one seeded player. That was Cristian Garin in the Round Of 16.

Djokovic dispatched him without breaking a sweat.

Interestingly, Novak Djokovic did not play a singles tournament on grass as a warm-up.

Instead, he competed in the Doubles at Mallorca, so he has some gentle warm-up action, conserving his body.

Djokovic has looked unsold this year in the Slams.

A Djokovic -8.5 Games handicap is a ridiculous 8/11 odds-on quote* (odds taken 21:49 GMT on July 5th, 2021)

That just sums up how easy the bookmakers are expecting this contest to be for the reigning champion.

Marton Fucsovics Preview – Can Fucsovics rally to beat Djokovic?

Bulgaria’s Marton Fuscovics is deep into unchartered territory at the moment.

This is the first time in his career that he has been past the fourth round of any Grand Slam.

From his three previous attempts at Wimbledon, he had not made it past the second round.

So this run from the 29-year-old has come from nowhere and it hasn’t been an easy one.

In the Round of 16, Fuscovics was up against Andrey Rublev and found himself 2-1 down and heading out.

But then he produced a brilliant rally to power his way to collect the next two sets against the 5th seed.

Fuscovics, who has one career ATP title, won the biggest game of his career in that one.

He will step out at Wimbledon again on Wednesday as the massive 14/1 underdog in tennis betting* (odds taken 21:49 GMT on July 5th, 2021).

Those are some odds to defy.

Marton Fucsovics has met Novak Djokovic twice before and he has lost both encounters.

The first of those was in a Grand Slam, at the 2018 US Open.

The most recent was in 2019 in Doha. On both of those occasions, Fuscovics did take a set off Djokovic.

For Wimbledon tennis betting, there is a quote of 9/4 on Fucsovics to win a set on Wednesday*(odds taken 21:49 GMT on July 5th, 2021).
