One of three teams in La Liga who remain unbeaten at home in 2019-20, Real Madrid (2nd – W16 D8 L3) have certainly turned their Santiago Bernabeu into the fortress of old. One of three teams who have won on just one occasion away from home all season, Eibar (16th – W7 D6 L13) will need to produce something extraordinary for them to double that meagre tally this weekend and, in turn, become the first team to inflict defeat on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. Playing in front of an empty stadium may aid their cause slightly. Shocks have been few and far between in this fixture, however, having lost on four of five prior visits to Real Madrid in La Liga.
A 1-1 draw in October 2016 the only occasion Eibar have avoided defeat away to Los Blancos.
