Sale have been pretty driven in the Premiership Cup this season. They won all four of their pool matches, including a 36-17 away win at Saracens back at the end of September. Saracens lost their last Premiership league game. They were taken down by Harlequins at the end of January. It’s a troubled season for them, knowing that they have been penalised for salary cap breaches with relegation this season.
This match corresponds with the Six Nations as well, so they are not at full strengths. Can their second-string bring them a bit of cheer? It would be a sizable upset if they pulled this off.
